AG2 Topcoat

AG2 Topcoat is a two-component transparent water-based polyurethane coating. It is used as a very highly chemically resistant and wear-resistant hard lacquer, suitable for a wide range of substrates. AG2 Topcoat has a high solids content and can therefore be applied in thick layers. AG2 Topcoat is often used in a system in combination with a primer and backing colour layers.

    • Application

    AG2 is used as a transparent finishing layer on paint and coating systems, but also as a lacquer layer on wood, plastic and mineral substrates. These substrates must have optimal resistance to weather and the effects of chemicals. AG2 Topcoat is resistant to continuous water loading and is therefore used in swimming pools and wet areas. On floors, it gives a well-treaded surface that can also be used in combination with an AntiSlip on very smooth surfaces. On walls, AG2 Topcoat forms a very easy-to-clean surface and is therefore used as a permanent anti-graffiti coating. The product is non-yellowing due to the effects of weather or sunlight and has a very strong adhesion.
