EPX Primer
EPX Primer is a unique two-component water-based epoxy adhesive primer. It is used as a deeply penetrating and quick-drying primer on metal, wooden and mineral substrates. EPX Primer has a very strong permanent adhesion and is UV resistant. Due to its rapid drying properties, it is easy to start with subsequent layers. Unlike many epoxy products, the product is ADR-free and therefore not considered dangerous goods for storage and transport.
The advantages
Application
EPX Primer is used as a strong and deep impregnating primer on mineral substrates such as concrete and sand-cement screeds. These floors must be resistant to impacts and withstand high mechanical loads. EPX Primer is also used as an adhesive primer on tiles or glass, making it suitable for damp areas. In addition, it can be applied to poorly insulated concrete floors where there is a risk of moisture from the substrate. The rebar is less affected and concrete rot is prevented.
EPX primer is also used as an anti-corrosion primer on metal surfaces such as aluminum, steel and galvanized substrates. It is moisture resistant and highly impact resistant. In doing so, it can also be applied with spray equipment.
